| Links to various other sites I enjoy. I can only hope that you like them as much as I do.
Stories and Comics Family Man: A webcomic by Dylan Meconis. What happens when the Age of Faith and the Age of Beauty have run their course? It's time for the Age of Reason! But Luther Levy finds that not even the Age of Reason can properly answer the questions he has. Finding Fate: The Various Stories of Erin-hime: A central hub for all of Erin's stories, including her NaNoWriMo project, Purebred, the companion site to the RP Mirror Image, and a host of other things. Palace of the Sun: Jateshi's story featuring Sailor SunHeart, a mysterious new soldier that the other senshi are suspicious of. And what's this about the Dark Kingdom returning? Perry Bible Fellowship: I'll admit, they're strange little comics, but I enjoy them so much. Retribution: A collaborative story between myself, Erin-hime, and Ramya, about three women who are sucked into a vast interdimensional plot, and eventually seek to fix the damage.
Reference/General Interest Theoi Project: This site is multi-purpose -- besides having an encyclopedia of Greek mythological figures (including quotations from Greek and Roman authors), it contains classical depictions of the gods as well as a library of ancient texts. Rome: Republic to Empire: A good overview of Rome in general; lots of information and pictures. Egyptian Book of the Dead: A little tedious to read, but interesting reading if you like ancient Egypt. The Costumer's Guide to Movie Costumes: All right, this isn't a reference unless you enjoy cosplay or sewing, neither of which I do. I just like looking at the images. The Costumer's Manifesto: There are links galore here, each divided neatly into sections. The only drawback is that they primarily link to outside sources, some of which are dead links by now. Still can be a decent resource for designing costumes, as they have some things on-site. WWI Color Photos: Exactly as the title implies; a selection of color images taken by the French in WWI. Shorpy: The 100-Year-Old Photo Blog: Various fascinating pictures from throughout the twentieth century.
