Personality: Carmen is a very down-to-earth girl, generally friendly and sweet. She knows what she wants and will do whatever she must in order to get it. She is a little vain, but this isn’t immediately noticeable. She’s moderately good at concealing her emotions, but not always. She is always very polite, being civil to even the people she hates.

Family Statistics
Mother: Lynn Beatrix Auttenberg: Born July 25, 1953 in London, Ontario. Lynn sells cosmetics for a living, and it is perhaps due to this that she slaves over her appearance, trying to remain as youthful as possible. She is very vain and this “image is everything” mentality has slightly trickled downwards towards her only child. However, she still loves her child and wants her to succeed, perhaps too much so.
Father: Edward Paul Seymour: Born July 17, 1949 in St. James, Ontario. Edward is a businessman who doesn’t see much of his family. He makes up for that by taking them on expensive vacations when they do have time together, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of an emotional bond Carmen has with him. She views him as simply a figurehead that provides her with money when needed. She doesn’t connect with him, and Edward, for his part, doesn’t really connect with her, either.

Background
Carmen was born in 1985, during a time of great prosperity for her parents: her mother, who sold cosmetics, had been given a hefty raise and her father, a businessman, was promoted. The new parents thought that it was the perfect time to have a baby, and they quickly began to flaunt their newfound wealth by moving into a new home in a nice subdivision.

Lynn was more apt to give Carmen whatever she liked within reason, but Edward, who was rarely at home, was less generous. He allowed her to take ballet lessons, which she took until she finished high school, not really wanting to do anything further. Her childhood was generally comfortable, though she wasn’t anything special – her grades were average, she kept out of trouble and was generally a good, if not somewhat bland, girl. She enjoyed watching movies, particularly cartoons, and as she grew older seriously considered becoming an animator or filmmaker.

Her father, wishing to show her good money-management skills, decided that at fifteen she should get a job, which she did; at sixteen he talked her out of the film industry, saying it was not a good source of income. He recommended computers, which Carmen started studying and found them not so bad. At eighteen he kicked her out of the house, saying that he had done his bit and that it was time for her to live on her own, as his parents had done to him. She found this immensely difficult, and the first year or so was spent in poor conditions. She received a scholarship, though, and that lessened the pressure somewhat. Later on she got a second job at the university, and during the summers she works at a third job.

It is still rather difficult for her, but she’s scraping by, helped along by her mother, who helps her often.

Attacks: Oceanic Curse: Tethys creates a large jet of water which she fires at the enemy. It is similar to the spray of a fire hose, so that it is more the pressure and force of the spray that destroys or incapacitates her enemies.
