When around people she is familiar with is when she really opens up – she can be loud, talkative, and fond of cracking jokes; on the flip side she can be prone to arguments and getting angry. She tends to wear her emotions on her sleeve, despite her attempts to hide them, and can get hurt easily because of it.

Family Statistics
Mother: Maria Hannelore Aloisia Weber: Born June 29 1949 in West Berlin, West Germany. Aloisia is a generally polite woman, but doesn’t mince words. She fiercely protects her children. Despite her seemingly rough demeanour, she still lets her emotions out from time to time, though she tries to make sure her children never see. Due to some poor choices early in life (running away at seventeen and becoming pregnant not long afterwards) she’s faced ostracism from most of her family and a good chunk of Josef’s, which hurts her.
Father: Daniel Josef Schumacher [deceased]: Born September 10, 1960 in West Berlin, Germany; died October 3, 2003 in Kabul, Afghanistan. Josef was always a quieter man, who preferred to listen rather than talk. Like his wife, he was also quite protective of his children (and Sylvia, even if she disliked it), though he never lashed out like Aloisia did. He loved his wife dearly. He died from a roadside bomb in Afghanistan while serving with the Canadian Forces, though strangely his body was never recovered.
Sibling(s): Greta Silvia Weber: Born September 7, 1967 in West Berlin, Germany. Silvia was raised with only her mother for quite a while, as Aloisia’s parents refused to support her. She had no idea who her biological father is, and she has no desire to find him. She accompanied Aloisia and Aloisia’s then-boyfriend Josef to Canada when she was fifteen; she started university when she was nineteen, and wound up eventually meeting her future husband here, who was studying abroad. When she was twenty-four, she married him and moved back to his native Australia (Melbourne, to be exact), and hasn’t seen her family much since.

Thomas Joseph Schumacher: Born June 20, 1990 in Toronto, Ontario. Thomas is an average fifteen year old who cares deeply for his family, almost unusually so. He seems to be aware he is somewhat of an anomaly, and perhaps this is the reason he strives to be well-liked and ‘cool’, almost to the point of it being comical.

Background
Christine was the first child born in Canada to her parents, who were on somewhat hard times at the moment. Nevertheless, her parents made sure she was happy and well-provided for. Thomas was born three years later, around the time when her parents’ citizenship became official. This strained the family more, as living wasn’t cheap and there were now five people to care for, but they soldiered on.

Just prior to Christine starting kindergarten, they moved south to a much smaller city, St. James, which had much cheaper housing. Josef got a job in London, around a half-hour’s drive away, and Christine was enrolled in the nearest Catholic school. School itself was another problem entirely, as Aloisia and Josef still had some difficulties with English, preferring to speak German whenever possible and remaining mostly around other German-speaking people. As such, Christine struggled, having to adapt herself to this new language now that it was being used more frequently. But, of course, she was able to pick up on it fairly easily.

She had always enjoyed singing, choosing to enrol in choir every year until leaving for high school, and her parents decided, if she was up for it, to enrol her in private lessons. Christine certainly was up for it; the remaining problem was to find a teacher – there was a private music school nearby, but admission was limited and fees rather high, not to mention they didn’t want to separate her from her friends. When she was fourteen she started private vocal lessons with Antonio Salucci, and she took to him right away.

Life seemed to be going fine for the family; though Josef was now in the military, he tried to spend as much time as he could with his family, and doted on them. In August 2003, Josef was deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan; the idea was that he was to be stationed there for around six months. In early October though, they were informed he’d died. Christine was devastated.

It was around six months after that that she started developing feelings for Salucci – she’d gotten along wonderfully before then, and she’d always liked him…but now she decided it high time to act on it, knowing full well that it was something to be kept secret. Her mother would have been furious if she found out. Salucci, for his part, was uncomfortable with this sudden turn of events and rejected her many times. It wasn’t until January of 2005 that she was able to make any sort of impact on him. As of present they are not ‘officially’ dating in any sense of the word, but she holds much affection for him, and he does likewise.

Her life has been going fairly well otherwise; she is rather cheerful and content at the present moment.

Soldier Statistics
Click for full view Name: Selene
Colours: Dark purple, silver, and blue
Weaponry: A torch around a foot and a half in length (approx. 45 centimetres); when not in use it resembles a baton. It is capable of generating its’ own source of light, which is used in Selene’s Moonlight Kiss attack.

Attacks: Moonlight Kiss: This is a general offensive attack, and it requires the torch for use. The torch generates a source of light at the tip, somewhat resembling fire, and Selene may use this light to destroy her opponents in whatever way she deems fit. This may include setting them on “fire” with the torch or concentrating on forming the light into a laser-like beam; it can adapt to take whatever form Selene wishes.

Other:

  • Is slightly nearsighted
  • Attends St. John the Baptist High School
